Long Pham

His journey began in Vietnam, where he won the Lawrence S. Ting full-ride scholarship to attend Saigon South International School. After overcoming language and socioeconomic barriers, he graduated as Salutatorian and earned admission to Williams College with financial aid grants, where he subsequently obtained fellowships to study abroad in Japan and Taiwan and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He later pursued the Wharton MBA and Lauder Institute MA dual degree, supported by the Lauder Fellowship, with academic and field experiences across the U.S., Europe, Africa, & Latin America.
Coming from a middle-income family, Long understands how difficult it is to navigate global admissions and scholarship opportunities without private consultants or insider networks. Professionally, he was a brand manager at Unilever, working on award-winning campaigns for household brands like Dove, Sunsilk, and Lifebuoy, and later led startup launches in the CPG and education space. He brings a blend of student empathy, brand storytelling, and go-to-market strategy.

From Vietnam, he won the A*STAR full-ride scholarship to attend Raffles Institution, one of Singapore’s most competitive schools. He later received the NUS ASEAN Full Scholarship to attend the National University of Singapore (NUS), completed exchange programs in the U.S. and Australia, and earned his MBA at NUS with a Merit Scholarship, where he was recognized as the top student in Marketing. He is now pursuing an EdD in Leadership and Innovation at NYU, researching how education can prepare students for the workplace.
Having built his own path across continents, Long deeply understands the uncertainty that international students face when pursuing global education. Career-wise, he started in management consulting at Simon-Kucher & Partners, then built deep marketing and growth expertise at Google, where he managed top clients and helped develop Vietnam’s agency ecosystem. He also founded a growing cocktail bar chain and serves as Head of Strategy at M Village, a hospitality startup, bringing experience in growth, partnerships, and scalable marketing channels.
